Blast Effect
Step 1:
Create a new document. Now press "D" on your keyboard to reset the foreground and background colors to black and white.
Make sure your background is Black.
Step 2:
Go to Filter> Render> Clouds and then go to Filter> Render> Difference Clouds.
Repeat the Difference Clouds 5 times.
Step 3:
Duplicate the layer and go to Filter> Artistic> Poster Edges, here are my settings:
Step 4:
Set the duplicate layer blending mode to 'Linear Dodge'. Then merge the layers together.
Step 5:
Now you have only Background layer in your layer palette. Duplicate the background layer again.
Select duplicated layer and go to Filter> Distort> Polar Coordinates, set it to Polar to Rectangular. Set the layer blending mode to 'Soft Light'.
Merge the layer together again.
Step 6:
Duplicate the layer again. Go to Filter> Distort> ZigZag, here are my settings:
Set the duplicated layer blending mode to 'Overlay' and merge the layers together.
Step 7:
Duplicate the layer last time.
Go to Filter> Distort> Wave, here are my settings:
Set the Duplicated layer blending mode to 'Lighten'.
Then merge the layers together.
Step 8:
Now we are going to add color's in Blast Effect, go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation and apply the following setting:
