Abstract Background

Find out how to create Abstract Background using Filter.

Step 1:
Create a new document. Now press "D" on your keyboard to reset the foreground and background colors to black and white.
Make sure your background is WHITE.

Step 2:
Apply Filter> Render> Clouds.
Duplicate the layer. Now select the duplicated layer and go to Filter> Distort> Wave with the following settings:

Step 3:
Change the duplicated layer blending mode to 'Overlay'.



Still working on the toplayer, we now want to add some plastic wrap to it. Filter> Artistic> Plastic Wrap.

Step 4:
Go back to the bottom layer (click it). Now go to Filter> Sketch> Chrome and use these settings:

Step 6:
Now go back up to the top layer again, lets add some color.
Press CNTRL+U. Use these settings or come up with your own color:
