Photo Water Color

Learn how to convert your photos into water color effect.

Step 1:
open an Image.

Step 2:
Press 'D' to reset your foreground and background colors.
Duplicate the background layer and go to Filter> Artistic> Colored Pencil, use the default setting:

Step 3:
Select duplicated layer and go to Image> Adjustments> Desaturate.

Step 4:
Now go to Image> Adjustments> Levels and adjust the Levels to remove the grays.

Step 5:
Go to Filter> Sharpen> Unsharp Mask to accentuate the lines even more.

Step 6:
Set the layer blending mode to 'Overlay'.

Step 7:
Duplicate the background layer and place it above Black and White Layer.
Set the new duplicated layer blending mode to 'Hard Light' and adjust the opacity according to your picture requirement.
