The Eraser tool

The new interactive Eraser tool is an exciting addition to the program, as it erases any vector content. It is also selection aware, meaning that it won't erase anything outside of a selection. It is also tablet aware, and by default, it should be associated to the back end (eraser end) of a tablet stylus. Read more about the Eraser tool in "A Quick Tour of Adobe Illustrator CS3."
